Are gift cards available?

At this time, we do not offer gift cards.

Why is X scent not available in the web shop?

We rotate candles seasonally or for stock purposes. If you are looking for a specific scent, please email us at Hilltopcandle@gmail.com and we will let you know if or when it will be available.

Do you offer wholesale or reduced pricing for bulk orders?

Yes! We do offer wholesale candles for resellers. Please click on our WHOLESALE page and fill out a contact form or email us at Hilltopcandle@gmail.com for more information. For bulk orders, please click on our Bulk order page.

Do you offer exchanges or returns?

Our goal is that you are satisfied with every purchase you make with us. If you are unhappy in anyway, please email us at Hilltopcandle@gmail.com. If you receive a damaged product, please take a photo and send it to us and we will send a replacement of the broken product at no cost to you.

Shipping

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, we do not ship internationally.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Our products are made to order and have a processing time of 2-10 days depending on the size of your order. Once your order is shipped, it may take 3-5 business days to arrive.

How can I track my order?

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information. If for some reason, you do not receive this information please email us at Hilltopcandle@gmail.com and we will resend your tracking information.

My order never arrived, now what?

If your order was never received, please email us at Hilltopcandle@gmail.com. Hilltop Candle is not responsible for lost or stolen packages when tracking states package was delivered.

About Hilltop Candle

Why soy wax?

We choose to use soy wax for several reasons, one of them being soy wax burns cleaner than paraffin wax. It releases a much smaller amount of soot compared to paraffin wax. Soy wax also burns up to 50% longer than traditional candles! We love that soy wax is a renewable resource and an all-natural, non-toxic product we can use every day.

What else is in your candles?

We use three ingredients in our products – all natural soy wax, high quality fragrance oils, and cotton wicks.

What is the best way to burn Hilltop Candles?

We recommend a burn time of 3 to 4 hours every time you light your candle. We suggest to allow the melt pool to reach the edge of the container, before extinguishing. This will allow the candle to burn evenly and prevent “tunneling.” Candles should never be left unattended. Candles should be kept away from flammable materials, reach of children, pets, and drafts.

Are your mason jars re-usable?

Yes! Once your candle is done, the residue left behind can be easily cleaned. We encourage reusing your empty candle containers! Some great ideas we have used with our mason jars are pencil holders, tooth brush/paste holder, sugar/coffee jar, and drinkware (just make sure you clean it out really well.)

How fragrant are your candles?

We use the maximum recommended amount of fragrance oil in our candles. If the scent of the candle is hard to smell, the room might be too large for our candle size. Putting the candle in a smaller room or lighting more than one candle may increase the scent.

We recommend our 8 oz. jar and 8 oz. tin candles to be used in a medium-sized room. For larger rooms, we find our 16 oz. jar or 14 oz. double-wick candles work best. Our 4 oz. jar and 4 oz. tin candles are nice for a desk or small space.
